Possible Light Rail Expansion
By PDC Ryan • Jan 16th, 2009 • Category: TransportationEven though it has been a few years since I have lived in Jersey City, I still enjoy following the progress of the gold coast as it continues to reach up to meet the New York City skyline. If you can’t travel there to see what’s happening, the Jersey City Construction blog is the next best thing, and according to a recent post, the Jersey Journal just ran a story about hopes to extend the Hudson Bergen Light Rail west to Rt. 440 and north/west to the Meadowlands. Hopefully some of our “shovel ready” projects really will make it into the next administration’s stimulus plan.
